According to the event's organizers, "The World WEAvers Salon Series supports critical grassroots women leaders and environmental justice solutions through dynamic digital engagement in the wake of COVID-19 and national protests in the U.S. demanding racial justice. This event will highlight environmental degradation issues in Indonesia and the global implications of environmental issues and climate change. During this event, attendees of our World WEAver calls will learn about different strategies environmental leaders are using, and how we can all spread awareness about these issues and help to combat climate change."
